On February 4th at 9 p.m., 50 train cars containing vinyl chloride were derailed in East Palestine, Ohio. Officials later intentionally detonated the cars in order to conduct a “controlled” release of the dangerous gasses within the cars before “changing conditions” would cause them to explode.

Let me restate that, US officials PURPOSEFULLY detonated cars containing extremely dangerous chemicals over what is some of the most fertile land in the United States. East Palestine also possesses key waterways which feed into other states surrounding Ohio.

While officials did evacuate the area, they are now claiming that residents are safe to return. However, residents have been saying that the air still smells of chemicals and even causes their eyes to burn. Even more alarmingly, some are claiming that their own livestock and animals are becoming sick and dying at an increased rate. Foxes, chickens, fish, and even cattle are being found dead even long distances away from where the explosion took place. The water is still showing signs of toxicity and residents have also been complaining of experiencing coughing fits, bloody noses, and nausea.

According to the National Cancer Institute, “Vinyl chloride exposure is associated with an increased risk of a rare form of liver cancer (hepatic angiosarcoma), as well as primary liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma), brain and lung cancers, lymphoma, and leukemia.”

When vinyl chloride is burned, phosgene and hydrogen chloride gas are also released into the air. In addition to carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide.

According to the CDC, “exposure to phosgene may cause irritation to the eyes, dry burning throat, vomiting, cough, foamy sputum, breathing difficulty,  and chest pain; and when liquid: frostbite.”

The CDC states that hydrogen chloride “is a colorless to slightly yellow gas with a pungent odor. Hydrogen chloride can irritate the skin, nose, eyes, throat, and larynx. Exposure to liquid hydrogen chloride may cause frostbite.”

Neil Donahue, a professor chemistry at Carnegie Mellon University, is worried that the release of these gasses will form dioxins in the environment. Dioxins are persistent environmental pollutants that last in the ground and body for years. Again, the land in East Palestine, Ohio is some of the most fertile in the US, so if dioxins were to form within the land, it could be detrimental to our nation.

So, to summarize, US officials knew that burning the vinyl chloride within the train cars would release toxic levels of phosgene and hydrogen chloride gas into the air. They purposefully detonated the cars, releasing these gasses and poisoning some of the most important and fertile land in the United States. They also stated that residents could return soon after triggering this “Chernobyl like” disaster, seemingly ignoring the obvious signs that the land is not safe to reside in.

Unfortunately, these happenings have only been the beginning of suspicious explosions and fires happening all over the United States:

  • A massive industrial fire in Kissimmee, Florida broke out behind a manufacturer of plastic nursery and greenhouse supplies, just a few miles away from Walt Disney World. The air quality is being monitored for potentially hazardous materials in the air from the burning plastic.

  • An explosion at a metals plant in Bedford, Ohio sparked a large fire and sent more than a dozen people to hospitals, authorities said.
  • An explosion and fire at an industrial complex in suburban Miami, Florida killed two people and left three others injured Tuesday morning, officials said.
  • A fire “involving uranium” broke out at the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, prompting an emergency response, according to a spokesperson for the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA).
  • A deadly rollover of a semi-truck carrying nitric acid happened in Arizona, causing a shelter-in-place order to be instated.
  • A train derailment occurred near Detroit, Michigan with one train car containing toxic chemicals, though the chemicals have yet to be released.

Even in the midst of these events, Biden refuses to go to Ohio where all this madness began, but instead, travels to Ukraine to offer further American aid. His own country is quite literally going up in flames, and yet, the Biden administration refuses to put America first. Despite the fact that America is the nation in which they live.

In addition to all this insanity, on February 22nd, a plane carrying five environmentalists on their way to help the people of Ohio crashed in Little Rock, Arkansas. All five of the scientists died and the cause of the crash has yet to be released. The environmentalists were employees of CTEH which is a company that ”empowers extraordinary teams of experts to help companies, governments, and communities prepare for, respond to, and recover from threats to their environment and people.”

All of this begs several questions:

  1. Why does the White House not only refuse to offer aid to these locations, but also blatantly ignore the serious environmental issues that could affect America for years to come?
  2. Where is the outrage from environmentalists? Do they not care about toxic gases being purposefully released into the air? Or does their rage stop at plastic straws?
  3. Why are members of the public being allowed to return to their homes when even a toddler can tell that the conditions are unsafe?
  4. Why does a plane carrying some of the only aid that Ohio has seen suddenly crash without explanation?
  5. Lastly, and probably the biggest question of all, why are these accidents taking place within days of each other? These accidents cannot be mere coincidence, and you don’t have to be a conspiracy theorist to see that.
