Hey there! My name is Elizabeth Gillanders, and I am a 19 year old college student from Michigan! I love to sing, listen to rock music, workout, have movie nights, and play soccer.
I am currently on a mission to discover who I am and who God has created me to be. I like to call myself a “purposeful wanderer” who is diligently searching this earth for that which gives my life meaning. So far, this search has directed me to attend Liberty University for the Fall 2022 semester! I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in communications with a minor in psychology. God has not yet led me in a specific career direction, but I feel Him leading me to bolster my gifts so that I can best be used for His Kingdom. I have always been an avid public speaker and writer, so communications seemed to be the right route for me!
Now, I know that God will won’t leave me wandering forever, but journeys of wandering and uncertainty tend to take exciting turns and lead to extraordinary destinations. Just look at David, Paul, Mary, Esther, and many other main characters in the Bible! This blog was born to document my personal journey as I leave home and begin to discover who I am.
